Vice Chair Sharon Greenberger thanks Chair Richard R. Buery Jr., her fellow commissioners, and the commission staff for their work.

She emphasizes that addressing the city's housing crisis was the primary goal that united the commissioners.

She describes the proposed charter amendments as rational and realistic changes that will lead to a demonstrable increase in housing units, and she encourages all New Yorkers to support them.

We have an extraordinary opportunity as a collective to enact changes that will improve New York City's housing development process and ameliorate our very real affordability crisis.

These are rational, realistic amendments to our charter that will result in a demonstrable increase in housing units, and I encourage every New Yorker to support them.

And one final note, I do hope that we continue to elevate the need for open primaries and build the support and mechanisms to enable true civic participation.
