Good afternoon.
3:02:36
My name is Alejandra Marine.
3:02:38
I'm a vendor of General Merchandise at the Bronx.
3:02:42
I had a stable job before the COVID, but when the COVID hit, it was very complicated for me to get my job, and it was a very complicated situation for everybody.
3:02:51
So I saw the chance to become a street vendor because that way I could get money.
3:02:57
For my family and for my parents.
3:02:59
My brother was the one that was bringing money home, but he died So I found that he was the only way to help my family because he was the only source of income So I started selling the street.
3:03:13
I thought that it was a great solution, a great solution, but then everything changed.
3:03:18
And now the agencies and everything are giving us a hard time.
3:03:23
I think that this package this package and especially the changes that are gonna be done through 1270, 1264, 1253, and 1268 are gonna be great because they are gonna help us get educated and to regularize this economy and to help the street vendors not to be some informal people that are selling, but to get into formality and regulated group that helps the economy.
3:03:50
That way, we are not going to be having fear of being of our merchandises to being confiscated, and we are gonna help the economy grow.
