Mamadu, a longtime street vendor on the Brooklyn Bridge, shares his testimony before the City Council.

He reflects on the challenges faced by vendors due to the lack of consistent police enforcement and the prevalence of unlicensed vendors during peak hours.

Mamadu appeals to the council for support in regulating vending on the bridge to ensure fairness for licensed vendors and to address overcrowding and safety concerns during busy times.
