Since it's an introduction and a 8 hour hearing in 2022, this bail has gained massive momentum and support Intro615 addresses the concerns brought up in the hearing while meeting the urgent plea of thousands of immigrant women of color who are demanding an end to the 24 hour workday.

Patients needing 24 hour care deserve split shifts like those that exist in every other city in New York State.

8 hours, 12 hour shifts, other norm in places where the workforce is majority white.

But here in New York City are Dominican, Chinese, hated, Puerto Rican, and many other immigrant women are forced to work inhumane conditions that rob them of their wages.

So it's our responsibility to protect the thousands of home attendants subjected to these conditions.

If we're truly our counsel that champions workers' rights, immigrant rights, women's rights, then our course of action is clear.
