The EDC has made a policy decision to require heliport operators to install charging infrastructure for electric aircraft within 12 months of FAA certification, but no later than 5 years into their contract term.
- Operators must make the necessary upgrades to support electric aircraft charging.
- Even if FAA certification is delayed beyond 5 years, operators will have already invested in the infrastructure.
- The EDC is mandating this infrastructure be in place to support electric aircraft operations at their heliports.

And the charging infrastructure, do we have currently in place at the EDC heliports?

Do you have the the charging infrastructure in place that these companies would require.

Thank you for the question.

We recognize it's a bit of a chicken and egg problem, and that's why we've made a policy decision to put the infrastructure in right away.

So what we've done through our procurement is we've made it not a nice to but a requirement for that operator to make the necessary infrastructure upgrades to support electric aircraft within 12 months of FAA certification and definitely within that 5 year term.

So let's play it out, you know, in the very unfortunate event that the FAA doesn't certify within 5 years, that operator will have already invested that money in that infrastructure that may not even be used.

And that's something that we are requiring of our operator.
