And I I do appreciate that.

And I'm glad that you did did say what you did because I think we all needed to hear that we're a body that respects due process, legal representation, and second chances.

We also need the law department to understand that they have been going against what the the judge and the courts have have decided upon and appealed and lost.

There are no set policies that everybody is taken as an individual.

They are decided upon arbitrarily.

What I'm saying to you, Mister Mastro, is if you are approved, you are walking into a labyrinth of a mess.

And you need to really use your your your intelligence, your knowledge, your experience to really unravel that because these people deserve better than what they're getting.

And, you know, there has been an issue in this body today with trust in you.

So, you know, and and that has been voiced almost unanimously.

But again, I will say to you that I believe in you.

I know your history.

I know what you did for this city.

During 911 and before, I know what you've did in the private sector, and what you've always done was fight for what was right, whether it was your private client or his city of New York.

And I believe that you can be fair, and you can make this separation.

And I'm hoping you do because the people I spoke about really need that.
