I've been living there over 30 years.
1:19:34
Been working right where in the middle of development over 25 years.
1:19:42
And I wanna first say to say, I'm not rented lease.
1:19:48
You know?
1:19:49
So as far as the questions about money, no.
1:19:52
I'm not rented lease because I'm a speak my mind and I don't care who it is.
1:19:57
But since I met these gentlemen here, they kept they worried when they say they're gonna do something, they do it.
1:20:03
They follow and I can't say that about a lot of people because a lot of things in Redhook is terrible.
1:20:10
Because we don't get no help.
1:20:12
Everybody else get what they want.
1:20:13
We don't get nothing.
1:20:15
Nothing at all.
1:20:16
I haven't seen counsel whatever.
1:20:19
I haven't seen nobody do nothing forever.
1:20:22
I've seen them do it for other developments, other places, but not for Britain.
1:20:26
I go to Conan Allen.
1:20:27
I have meetings at Conan Allen.
1:20:29
And the counsel and senators, they're awesome.
1:20:35
They're awesome because they work for the community.
1:20:38
I wanna see somebody working for my community, doing right by my community.
1:20:42
I've been here before when we wanted nursing home, that got shot down Mhmm.
1:20:47
Because other people didn't want it.
1:20:50
We have seen that they go away to Dumbo to go shopping.
1:20:53
I'm not trying to get rid of no supermarket.
1:20:56
I just want a better supermarket.
1:20:59
I I can go to this supermarket.
1:21:00
I want because I have a automobile.
1:21:02
They can take me there.
1:21:04
But I have a lot of scenes in my community.
1:21:06
They don't have that.
1:21:08
They have to get on the bus, and then after they buy grocery, they gotta lug it back on a little pulley.
1:21:13
I think about how how would I feel like my mother had to go through this?
1:21:18
I wouldn't want my mother or my grandmother to have to go through even though, you know, I'm I'm a grandmother because I'm over 60, way over 60.
1:21:28
And I know I look good Okay, ma'am.
1:21:31
I checked the delay too.
1:21:32
The India.
Marcella Williams
1:21:33
