ACC's efforts to address challenges and support pet owners

ACC has implemented various programs and resources to address the challenges facing animal welfare in NYC and to support pet owners.
- ACC offers a surrender prevention program with various resources:
- Pet food pantry
- Counseling
- Free and local vaccine clinics
- Vouchers for free or low-cost spay/neuter and medical services
- Two new clinics are being added to shelters in Queens and the Bronx
- These clinics will offer low-cost veterinary services to help prevent pet surrenders due to inability to pay for care

With the addition of 2 clinics, As part of our shelters in Queens and the Bronx, we will be able to increase pet retention by offering access to low cost veterinary services to our clients who may need to surrender their pet.
