I am proud well, I guess when we drafted this bill, it was kind of during quaint times before the chaos of today.

But I'm very proud to be introducing intro 1062 with 38 co prime sponsors on this bill, a bipartisan and diverse coalition of council members from every borough in support of this legislation to repeal the mayor's silly form.

We're duly elected to do our jobs, which is to hold the city agencies accountable and make sure that city agencies are keeping our neighborhoods clean and safe.

And unfortunately, the mayor created this form to prevent us from being able to do our jobs.

It shouldn't matter whether you're a Democrat or Republican, a friend of the mayor, or a skeptic of the mayor, we should be able to deliver for our constituents.

And the mayor's form has gotten in the way And I'm really proud that at the time of introduction, we have a veto proof majority on this bill.

I think it's unclear whether the mayor's gonna be around to continue to implement his form.

But if he is, I'm eager for us to push this bill forward and really wanna thank each and every one of my colleagues who signed on in support of this legislation so that we can most effectively and efficiently deliver for our constituents.
