- They live in the Arbor Neighborhood of Far Rockaway in Council District 31
- Current R4 zoning requires them to maintain an unused 2-car garage
- They hope to convert the garage from housing a stray cat to housing a human neighbor

Good evening, counsel and fellow New Yorkers, and thank you for this opportunity.
9:21:37
My name is Jessica Rothko.
9:21:39
This is my wife, Hannah, and we're our queen's homeowners.
9:21:42
We wanna urge you to support the entire city of guest proposal and especially the accessory dwelling unit provisions.
9:21:49
We own a single family bungalow in the Arbor Neighborhood of Far Rockaway in Council District 31.
9:21:55
We love this neighborhood for its economic and housing diversity.
9:22:00
We have a 2 car garage that is completely unused because neither of us have a driver's license and we don't own a car.
9:22:07
And our current R4 zoning requires us to maintain our garage, which takes up a large portion of our lot.
9:22:13
We currently house a stray cat in our garage, and we really love her.
9:22:18
But we hope you'll pass the city of yes and love us to hug one of our human neighbors instead.
9:22:24
Thank you.
