Council Member Brooks-Powers inquires about how SBS and DCLA measure community engagement and satisfaction in neighborhoods with newly introduced cultural districts and local programming. Haris Khan from SBS provides an overview of their approach.

  • Work is led by community-based organizations
  • SBS tracks various metrics, including number of people and events
  • Detailed metrics are collected from grantees, specific to each grant program
  • The goal is to ensure outcomes that lead to corridor revitalization across the city
