Okay.
0:50:03
I saw that your the 2023 October 2023 report, has developed a feasibility study with EDC EDC targeting East New York with the goal of identifying underutilized city owned land and developing innovative licensing and land use agreements.
0:50:22
Can you tell us a little bit more about this work and kinda what are the results of it, or what are some of the challenges you identified?
Qiana Mickie
0:50:29
Sure.
0:50:30
So what we had mentioned in the 2023 report was the start of the feasibility study with EDC.
0:50:36
So this is some of that additional work, in the stages that we're talking about.
0:50:41
So, in the progress report, the 2024 progress report, what we did is kind of, we continue to work with them to explore how to move that forward.
0:50:52
I know they've varsity did their own action plan and strategy around certain areas, in particular.
0:50:57
I don't wanna speak to their work directly.
0:51:00
All I can say to that is we're continuing to work with them on any additional, work around urban ag and criterions to make it more relevant.
0:51:08
But in the progress report, we're continuing to identify, other elements in that inventory that could also be suitable for underutilized, urban ag production.
0:51:21
And when we say production, it's not just the growing of food.
0:51:24
Yeah.
0:51:24
It's also identifying the space for processing, dry and cold storage.
0:51:27
Everything.
0:51:27
Yeah.
Alex Paulenoff
0:51:27
Distribution as well.
Qiana Mickie
0:51:28
Yeah.
0:51:28
Absolutely.
0:51:28
Okay.
0:51:28
So, just to clarify, you're in, you're in a stage
Sandy Nurse
0:51:31
of, like, what has you've identified that you're developing the study, but has the study been, started or you're just to clarify, like,
Qiana Mickie
0:51:47
what do
Alex Paulenoff
0:51:48
you think?
Qiana Mickie
0:51:48
The study has taken, some pivots.
0:51:50
As we've seen, we need to ex to continue and explore.
0:51:53
1, the land, 2, building and refining that urban at criterion, and then 3, any additional environmental, elements and awareness that we need to have.
0:52:05
So those things, take time, and we're just trying to take be pragmatic about our approach to the research as well as developing the study.
Alex Paulenoff
0:52:14
Okay.
