messaging, to New Yorkers who are not immigrants about the rights that immigrants have to help dispel misinformation that is coming from, quite frankly, our our mayor or your boss.
1:38:18
And I and I agree.
1:38:19
I think I would say that I would bet my life that there is not actually a legislative priority happening at the state level.
1:38:29
So it would be really great to get that in the follow-up if that has been included.
1:38:34
And I I don't know if this was asked, and so sorry if I'm repeating a question.
1:38:42
What what exactly are the consequences to a public servant who violates our city laws and calls ICE on someone?
1:38:52
Because we know this has happened before.
Manuel Castro
1:38:55
Yes.
1:38:55
Thank you for bringing that up again.
1:38:56
It's something that I wanted to clarify.
1:39:00
You know, I don't mean to to perhaps, be too general in my responses.
1:39:06
It's that each agency and and office is expected to have protocols in place to address staff who may not be following, local laws and directives from their leadership.
1:39:22
And, if that is, something that arises, each agency and office will address that through their human resources offices and and and other mechanisms to, remediate those situations.
1:39:39
Again, each agency has to tailor those responses accordingly, in particular, public safety agencies.
1:39:48
We're MoIA and the law department is ready to advise with in that respect, but each agency, take these matters very seriously.
1:39:59
And, again, like we discussed, ACS took steps, to address these issues when they identified, something like what you mentioned.
