3:19:28
you, guys.
3:19:28
I just wanna say thank you to the committee for having this meeting about public safety because this is an issue that is very bad in New York, especially for me.
3:19:36
I'm a person that comes here for work.
3:19:38
And if you watch on television and you see what happens on a New York subway, like people being lit on fire and cops not doing anything to put them out, and you see this police force that is basically hamstrung, you know, they're at a crossroads on how can they police this city because we have illegal immigrants here from Venezuela that are part of the Trinidad Arruga cartel, and those people are sex trafficking and human trafficking.
3:20:07
So it makes their jobs tough when these people get to have a free hotel room in Manhattan at what would be considered nearly a four star hotel.
3:20:15
When I come here, have to pay $400 basically to stay in Manhattan at a three star hotel.
3:20:20
So it's kind of frustrating as a person that wants to come here.
3:20:23
The public safety is terrible because these Venezuelan gang members have no, you know, we have no idea what their criminal history is.
3:20:31
So we literally have rapists here, we have murderers here, we have some of the worst people in the world.
3:20:36
And we need to use this facial recognition software to actually He's watching me on his phone right there.
3:20:43
No no worries.
Yusef Salaam
3:20:43
Thought I hear some feedback.
Alex Stein
3:20:45
He's watching it on his phone.
Yusef Salaam
3:20:47
Oh, okay.
3:20:47
No problem.
Alex Stein
3:20:48
I like this guy.
3:20:49
My point is my point is, in this city, we got all these dang illegal immigrants in the in this police force, they wanna use facial recognition.
3:20:57
And I don't wanna live in dystopian China where you guys can just watch me and I have to have a social credit score.
3:21:03
But when it comes to illegal immigrants, I think we should use it to kick them out.
3:21:06
But I saw Jennifer Gutierrez, you know, just left.
3:21:10
I wanted to speak to her because I feel like all illegals should be deported in New York City except for the big booty Latinas.
3:21:17
If you're a nine, you're fine.
3:21:19
You should not be
Yusef Salaam
3:21:20
subject to deportation.
Alex Stein
3:21:22
You don't think an illegal immigrant has something to do with public safety?
3:21:25
I know.
3:21:26
Trying but it's funny because she was just talking about sex workers.
Sergio De La Pava
