We are dealing with communities that have generational traumas of violence that have been asking for certain things and all they keep getting is arrest and more arrest.

I am very clear that there are people behind 911 calls that respond to things that are also dealing with trauma on a human being that wanna go home.

And, what I keep trying to say is let's stop putting everybody in these situations when it's not addressing the causes of what we're asking for.
