In the Community Affairs Bureau, we oversee all the community affairs offices around the city and all your 78 precincts that you guys all represent.

We have a number of different programs working with the Department of Education, the Department of Youth and Community Development, the New York City Police Department.

We have one of the largest city agencies, summer youth employment programs where we hire over a thousand young people in all about 78 precincts, nine housing commands, 12 transit districts, and from the police commissioner's office down.

And we have a number of different programs that we do to try to keep young people from ever getting into the database, but also getting into any type of trouble.

This past Friday, we just and the Chairs District up in the Polar Grounds, we just opened up with with DYCD and also PAL, the police athletically, our first aviation program where we took a pilot from our aviation unit, and he's from the community, he wants to get back to the community, and he's running a program where he's teaching the young people in Harlem the skills and a life life career of being a pilot.

So, we have a number of different programs, we take young people partner with SUNY, We have over 20 school visits where we partner.

We take young people from all over the city to different colleges, building that relationship.

A lot of people say how come the police should be into program.

It's very important for us because we want to be able to build those relationships with the young people.

And my men and women of this department have a lot of different resources, talents, sort of like that officer that's running this aviation program.

And we also want to show people that the police officers is from the communities that they represent.
