Christopher Marte

Yes.
1:10:37
I'll just ask one question.
1:10:39
Emma, are you still on?
Emma Culbert
1:10:44
I am.
Christopher Marte
1:10:45
Can you talk about the role that space has, historically with restaurants and bars on Canal Street?
Emma Culbert
1:10:52
Yeah.
1:10:53
I mean, so we are a slightly larger block association, although I live directly on Canal Street, in that immediate area.
1:11:00
We have been a block association, since 02/2006, and we have both welcomed and thwarted many, restaurants and bars in our neighborhood.
1:11:12
Almost everybody in our neighborhood has a stipulations agreement signed by us.
1:11:17
We are not as many block associations just try to shoot down every, you know, anybody who's seeking a liquor license.
1:11:23
That is not at all how we've been how we have operated.
1:11:26
And we actually signed a liquor license or rather a stipulations agreement with John and Ledive in 2021.
1:11:36
Although I have to say that I did not have a a warm and fuzzy feeling at that moment that things were going to go well, and it has absolutely proven to go as negatively as I anticipated.
