Council Member Brewer raises the issue of payment timeliness at DHS compared to Health + Hospitals (H+H). First Deputy Commissioner Jill Berry responds to this concern.
- Brewer notes that H+H pays on time while DHS does not.
- Berry states that DHS is working with partners to bring contract payments up to date and make them more timely.
- The discussion reveals that H+H operates under different contracting rules and processes, making direct comparisons challenging.
