Christopher Leon Johnson testified in support of improving food quality in NYC shelters, criticizing the current state of meals provided. He expressed concern about the use of unhealthy and GMO foods in shelters, suggesting this was intentional to keep shelter residents sick and dependent on the medical industry.

  • Johnson claimed that poor food quality in shelters makes residents more susceptible to illness and vulnerable to being overmedicated or misdiagnosed with mental health issues.
  • He criticized the absence of vocal New York, a homeless advocacy organization, at the hearing.
  • Johnson expressed skepticism about the likelihood of meaningful change, citing the influence of large nonprofits, developers, hospitals, and pharmaceutical companies on the shelter system.

Hello.
2:22:41
Good afternoon, chair Juan and chair Farias.
2:22:44
My name is Christopher Leon Johnson, and I'm here to speak I'm here to speak in support of we need better food in shelters.
2:22:52
That's the problem.
2:22:52
I'm not homeless, but I'm I mean, I give my commences to the people that are homeless in the City Of New York that could tolerate that type of food.
2:23:00
But the truth of the matter of fact is is that where was vocal New York when today of the biggest homeless advocacy organization in the New York City to speak on behalf of these these bills?
2:23:13
Oh, yeah.
2:23:13
Forgot if it doesn't benefit homosex offenders, then they won't advocate on behalf of it.
2:23:19
Alright.
2:23:20
But let's go forward.
2:23:21
Let's keep this real.
2:23:23
The reason they put this food in shelter, these unhealthy foods in the shelter, is to keep the people sick because then they become guinea pigs for the hospital industry and the medical industry.
2:23:35
And the medical industry and the hospital industry love using homeless people because they are highly prone to getting diseases because of the smells in the home.
2:23:44
I used to work at a homeless shelter as a security supervisor, and I know the smell.
2:23:48
It's horrible.
2:23:49
I wouldn't want my worst enemy living at a homeless shelter unless they have to.
2:23:52
That's why people live on the streets.
2:23:54
The truth of the matter fact is they want these people to keep on being sick in with these foods, and everybody know these foods are GMO foods.
2:24:01
They want people to be sick so they can be used as guinea pigs for the hospital and medical industry, especially when you come to psychiatric pills.
2:24:08
You could take the you could eat those food and you feel sick, and you go to the right the wrong doctor that is funded by the city council, they will say, oh, you're mentally ill and they'll put you on these pills so they can make you a zombie for the rest of your life.
2:24:21
So I know nothing here is gonna get changed with the food with the food selections and and stuff because the city council refused to address anything because everybody know that the biggest nonprofits in this that gets all the contracts, they're behind this stuff.
2:24:35
They doubt they get funded from developers.
2:24:37
They get funded from the hospitals.
2:24:39
They get funded from big pharma like Pfizer and Moderna.
2:24:43
And what happens is the people stay oppressed.
2:24:46
So, look, I know this committee, this is only a part of what's happening, the transparency was going on here, but unless you you you you change you really say say, look, we're gonna get rid of these GMO foods and bring in real healthy foods without the bat without the approval of the big pharma and big medical, then I know I'm I'm going downstairs to the rally.
2:25:08
See what I'm about.
2:25:08
Thank you.
Julie Won
2:25:09
