- Red Hook has 9 warehouses over 100,000 square feet
- Sunset Park has 10 warehouses over 100,000 square feet
- Maspeth has 20 warehouses over 100,000 square feet
- South Bronx has 13 warehouses over 100,000 square feet
- Each large warehouse may produce more than 12,000 truck trips per year

The biggest concentrations of large warehouses are in Red Hook and Sunset Park in Brooklyn, Maspeth in Long Island City in Queens and in the South Bronx.
