Fantastic.
1:43:30
Give me one moment, please.
1:43:34
I I would like to thank you three and everyone from CUNY for coming today, for testifying today.
1:43:41
I also wanna thank Jeff Rodis who, you know, whenever I have an issue, he is the poor, poor recipient of my sometimes angry, but sometimes nice text or phone call.
1:43:55
It's a real real pleasure to work with with mister Rodis on issues related to CUNY.
1:44:01
It's very clear to me that there are a lot of important initiatives that you'd like to move forward, both capital and expense, including ASAP, ACE programs, Reconnect, and, of course, all of the capital commitments we you have, all the needs we have on our CUNY campuses.
1:44:21
And it seems to me that we do have an administration that seems rather uninterested in making the investments that our city needs to provide robust education for our students, the kind of education our students deserve, an education system we are proud of, but we're proud of it in spite of all the challenges laid before us laid before us by an administration that wants to cut funding to our school system.
1:44:54
And I find it incredible that every day professors, professional staff, chancellors and vice chancellors work every day despite the immense fiscal challenges laid ahead of them, do the work that they can to make sure our students get the best education they can so they can reinvest that education right back into our city.
1:45:15
I once again wanna thank everyone from CUNY being here.
1:45:17
We will take a short break and then call up members of the the community to for public testimony.
