Since president Trump took office earlier this year, his administration has taken aggressive steps towards significantly cutting federal funding including education funding through rapid executive orders moved by the department on government efficiency to cut spending and how republicans early efforts to draft a budget bill.

We are, as the chancellor said, keeping as close an eye as we can on the daily confusing set of pronouncements coming out of the federal government.

As of now, we don't believe any of the cuts or reductions have directly hit our budget, but we are keeping an eye on anything else that comes down and checking to make sure we can claim for anything that is relevant.
