So the the the secret the magic is the CBOs as partnerships to make sure recruitment is being done in these seats.
3:10:54
So council member Stevens, see.
3:11:01
Delayed payments.
3:11:04
How many ECE contracts have been registered for fiscal twenty twenty five?
Jeff Klein
3:11:09
So I will turn over payment questions to my colleague who's chief of finance for Argument.
Rita Joseph
3:11:15
Sure, thank you.
Monique Scales
3:11:28
Hello again chair and council members.
3:11:30
Thank you for your question.
3:11:32
So we have several different contract types.
3:11:35
So they are contracts that are currently on a four year and five year term.
3:11:39
So in total we have 13 1,340 contracts that are currently registered.
3:11:47
We have another 66 that are in the process of being registered for f y twenty five.
3:11:52
Then we let me back up.
3:11:54
So we have 1,340 contracts that are currently registered.
3:11:58
That's on our four year and five year contract term.
3:12:01
We have approximately a hundred contracts that have to be registered or extended every year.
3:12:06
So out of that 100, we have 66 contracts that are in the process of being registered and 34 have already been registered for fiscal twenty five.
Rita Joseph
3:12:16
And how many have been approved?
3:12:17
How many EC budgets have been approved for fiscal twenty twenty five?
Monique Scales
3:12:21
So for fiscal twenty twenty five, we've approved 1,141 budgets out of the 1,175 submitted budgets.
Rita Joseph
3:12:31
Okay.
3:12:32
And how much is that in dollars?
3:12:35
You'll get back to
Monique Scales
3:12:36
I'll have to get back to you on that one.
Rita Joseph
3:12:39
Can you please tell me the details on New York City Public School effort in recruiting and hiring more analysis to work on processing these contracts?
3:12:46
And what are the barriers to hiring for this position?
3:12:49
Because I know last time there's a headcount.
Monique Scales
3:12:53
So we are currently, for the division currently hiring or looking to hire analysts.
3:12:59
As deputy chancellor said in our previous hearing.
3:13:03
They are currently there's civil service laws that we have to abide by, but we are actively looking and trying to recruit recruit for the appropriate positions.
Rita Joseph
3:13:13
So do you get accurate up to date enrollment numbers for ECE providers before the providers are approved to submit invoice or submit current attendance and enrollment?
3:13:22
How does that?
Monique Scales
3:13:23
So it's important to note that the providers are the ones that have to submit the enrollment information, and they do that through our vendor portal.
3:13:32
So for us to have accurate and up to date information, they're the ones that submit it into vendor portal.
3:13:36
So once they submit the information, then, they are able to once they have an approved budget, they're able to certify attendance and then they can submit an invoice.
Rita Joseph
3:13:47
How long does it take if they submit the information for you to start working on that case?
Monique Scales
3:13:52
So regarding submitting the enrollment, there's nothing that has to happen, they just have to submit it.
3:13:57
They have to submit the enrollment again.
3:13:59
They also have to certify attendance.
3:14:01
So it all depends.
3:14:02
It's it's it starts with them, but once they certify attendance, they have an approved budget, and they submit their invoice, then we will work and begin to process the invoice.
Rita Joseph
3:14:12
How long does it take to process an invoice?
Monique Scales
3:14:15
We we, our average time is about two weeks to process an invoice.
3:14:21
That's our average time.
