of the biggest issues that I have with my constituents is when the law was changed in terms of containerization of the household trash where they would have to go purchase the trash cans.
1:39:05
Unfortunately, in my community, these trash cans are disappearing.
1:39:11
My constituents, homeowners mainly, are purchasing these trash cans and they're disappearing.
1:39:18
Not too long ago, I helped one of my constituents to write a letter to Oath trying to hopefully that they could be understanding that he received a violation because his trash can wasn't there.
1:39:31
What programs do you have at all for these situations where these trash cans are basically being stolen from from these homeowners?
Javier Lojan
1:39:40
So right now, the the only mechanism we have is just the process of them reporting it to the local precinct.
1:39:47
And unfortunately, we don't really have anything in place to get them a new bin or anything like that.
1:39:54
But that that's that's the only thing I can say about that.
Rafael Salamanca
1:39:57
Yeah.
1:39:58
I imagine it's happening out of the boroughs, but I know in the borough of The Bronx, at least in the South Bronx, it's a it's a concern and it's a major issue for us.
