Hi.
2:21:54
Sorry to join at the last minute here.
2:21:57
It's a busy day, busy week for all of us.
2:22:01
I appreciate the opportunity to, testify.
2:22:05
My name's Alex Marano.
2:22:06
I live in Crown Heights, Brooklyn.
2:22:09
And what I really wanna emphasize here is there's been a lot said about the the land use and housing aspects of the the up zoning, but a really, really crucial element that's needed here is firm commitments from DOT for streetscape improvements with a solid timeline.
2:22:34
My family has lived within a block of Atlantic Avenue going back to 1950.
2:22:39
In that entire time, Atlantic Avenue has been dangerous.
2:22:42
We can't drop thousands of more people into the project zone and leave the street the way it is.
2:22:49
It's just not possible.
2:22:51
So we really, really need commitments, for streetscape improvements, for a road diet, for, protected bike lanes in the surrounding neighborhood, to to make this project, work.
2:23:04
Thanks.
