Hello.
2:17:52
Hi.
2:17:53
My name is Harry, and I'm a resident of Crown Heights.
2:17:55
I urge the city council to push for a road diet in Atlantic Avenue.
2:17:59
We cannot continue to have an urban highway divide our neighborhoods.
2:18:04
And I really appreciate the council members concern over the previous timeline for redesign and hopefully we can, figure out a way to speed that up.
2:18:13
I also want to reiterate the need for bike boulevard at Dean Bergen Streets, protected bike lane on Franklin Avenue as well as a two way protected bike lane on Vanderbilt and Bedford.
2:18:23
We need to make our communities safer and encourage biking and walking through these streetscape improvements as well as add green space.
2:18:31
And I understand that these capital improvements take some time, so having a commitment to making these these street improvements as soon as possible is is instrumental, especially if we want this area to be family friendly.

Thank you.
