It's good to know the chairs.
1:08:32
Thank you, chairs.
1:08:34
So in terms of let's see.
1:08:37
So you're gonna get back to me on the warehouse sizes, And you mentioned the discussion around the use cases, and so I guess NISM is the holder of this map that will tell us what our capacity is during emergency situation?
Kate MacKenzie
1:08:55
It's an catalog was not the right word.
1:08:57
It's an inventory of of the different existing assets, whether they be nonprofit partners, corporate partners, and others so that, again, if we needed to activate, we would know what where to be.
Alexa Avilés
1:09:09
And and does the EDC have a map of its current facilities and capacity in terms of coal storage across the city?
Michelle Lamberti
1:09:21
EDC.
1:09:22
I'm sorry.
1:09:24
I'm sorry.
1:09:24
Councilwoman speaking.
Alexa Avilés
1:09:27
I have
Michelle Lamberti
1:09:27
been there a lot.
1:09:28
Apologies.
1:09:29
No worries.
1:09:29
So
Alexa Avilés
1:09:30
does EDC have an inventory of cold storage facilities across New York City?
Michelle Lamberti
1:09:37
I don't know the answer to that question, but I'm happy to look into it and get back to you.
Alexa Avilés
1:09:40
Great.
1:09:40
And and in terms of the the investment, my colleague was mentioning the $600,000,000 for, I guess, the produce market itself.
1:09:53
I guess my understanding is this investment has been happening over time.
1:09:59
Could you tell me a little bit about the investment to improve the produce market and it is New York City's One of our main assets?
Michelle Lamberti
1:10:06
Yeah, sure.
1:10:07
So I can talk through probably it's easiest for me to talk to probably the city, state, and federal funding.
1:10:13
And my understanding is that we are really at the initial stages of using that funding even though it's been committed.
1:10:19
So it would be 130,000,000 of New York City capital, a hundred and 30,000,000 of state capital, a hundred and 10,000,000 from US DOT, another 10,000,000 from US DOT for EV freight charging, and another 25,000,000 from US DOT for another grant, that's 1 and 45 from US DOT And then the rest, we are working on a robust, like, public private partnership to to fill in the remaining financing.
Alexa Avilés
1:10:55
Got it.
1:10:55
Thank you for that.
1:10:56
And in terms of the charging capacity, which I know is something you've been working on, can you explain a little bit to me about where that where you are in that process of electrification?
Michelle Lamberti
1:11:06
Yeah.
1:11:06
Sure.
1:11:07
Sure.
1:11:07
Sure.
1:11:07
So my understanding for and that's the EV freight charging hub that will be, I believe, at the AUU 2 site.
1:11:15
My understanding is that we anticipate awarding off the RFP this summer.
1:11:21
And and how much is the RFP?
1:11:24
I I would I'm sorry, don't have that number off the top of my hand, but I can I can find that out for you?
Alexa Avilés
1:11:28
Got it.
1:11:29
Alright.
1:11:30
Cheers.
1:11:31
So back to
Gale A. Brewer
1:11:32
