Council Member Rivera inquires about the breakdown of which boroughs Manhattan-based organizations are working in outside of Manhattan. The IBO analyst provides a detailed breakdown of the percentages for each borough.

  • 65% of Manhattan-based CDF grantee programs occur outside Manhattan
  • Brooklyn receives 24% of these programs, followed by The Bronx (20%), Queens (17%), and Staten Island (3%)

Thank you so much for your testimony, and we saw some of the tables in the actual physical copy that you've presented.

If Manhattan based organizations are primarily working with schools outside of Manhattan, do you have a breakdown of which boroughs they're working in?

Yes, we do.

So as I said, 65% of school programs conducted by Manhattan based CDF grantees occurred outside of the borough of Manhattan, leaving 35% in Manhattan.
2:31:29
So if we break down the 65%, we get 24% in Brooklyn, so the next most likely borough for them to work in, 20% in The Bronx, 17 Percent in Queens, and 3% in Staten Island.
