I just, you know, as you were testifying and were talking about such an important issue, it just strikes me as appalling and unbelievable that the city agency that is charged with working with our immigrant communities is is not here.

And I have to say, as someone who has led three city agencies, I cannot recall a single time during my tenure as commissioner that either myself or other fellow commissioners wouldn't simply wouldn't come to a hearing.
