Council Member Avilés inquires about the regular, non-surge inspection levels for immigration services. DCWP representatives explain their approach to ongoing inspections and enforcement.
- DCWP is still evaluating the results of the recent surge in inspections
- The agency conducts proactive inspections and sets cadences for particular industries
- Businesses found guilty of violations are put on a path for more frequent reinspection
- DCWP needs more time to determine the expected numbers for non-flood scenario inspections
