Today, we will vote to pass intro for a bill that will require cruise ships coming to New York City to plug in to clean shore power system where it already exists in Brooklyn and where it will exist in Manhattan.

It also requires that contracted entities come up with a traffic mitigation plan that will hopefully prevent the sort of nightmare from occurring that happened in Redhook this summer.
