Can we still hear from DYCD and I forget if it was DFTA or DSS that testified, but on how you're going to make sure that you're registering contracts on time and paying invoices.
Jeremy Halbridge

Thank you for the question.
1:10:45
My name is Jeremy Halbridge.
1:10:46
I'm the Deputy Commissioner of Administration at the Department of Youth and Community Development.
1:10:50
Can you hear me?
1:10:52
Great.
1:10:53
I want to thank the support of Executive Director Cedillo and Director Yu and all the council members here today.
1:11:00
We share your concerns.
1:11:03
Commissioner Howard and I and all the staff at DYCD are working hard on a daily basis to make sure that not just contracts are registered on time but payments are made on time.
1:11:14
What we're doing is we have weekly meetings with MOX and their team to talk about the timely registration.
1:11:22
We also have internal weekly meetings where we bring together our finance staff, procurement staff, legal staff and others to ensure that we are hitting the targets that MOX has laid out, that contracts are registered on time.

I'm the Executive Director for Nonprofit Engagement and Chief Nonprofit Officer at Thank you Chairman Wan for your question.
1:11:50
So much like our colleagues, you know, we do appreciate both the MOX and MON support, both in providing the data to us regarding outstanding actions.
1:11:59
We also convene weekly meetings with our internal staff to ensure that everything that we can control we are and to that end that we're also doing outreach with our nonprofits right for the things that we cannot control which would be submission of documents because our goal is the same as everyone else.
1:12:17
We want your contracts registered on time so that we can make timely payments to you.
1:12:21
So it really is engaging with our nonprofits to ensure that they have the tools that they need to submit what we need to make sure that we can register their contracts timely.
