Since we met in March to discuss the preliminary budget, mayor Adams has announced an unprecedented investment in young people.

The Compass after school program, which started off twenty years ago with an initial investment of 47,000,000, will grow to a record 755,000,000 programs serving about a 32,000 youth by fiscal year 2028.
