First of all, those are policy issues to be determined by the council and the mayor, and I will advocate for supporting the law.

In my own personal background, I think you know this public advocate, the charter revision commission that I chaired back in 2001, made the mayor's office of immigrant affairs or permanent charter agency have enshrined into our city's constitution the protection for immigrants to access all city services and not put themselves in any jeopardy because they access any services.
