Council Member Crystal Hudson inquires about internal benchmarks or targets for referral review timelines in APS. Deputy Commissioner Gili Hershkovich-Kim explains the assessment timeline and monitoring process.

  • APS has 60 days to complete their assessment of a case
  • Staff is required to conduct monthly visits and contacts with individuals
  • Monthly reports are reviewed to ensure staff compliance with requirements
  • Some assessments may be completed in less than 60 days if not needed
  • These benchmarks are being met according to the Deputy Commissioner

We review monthly reports to assure that the staff is in compliance with the requirement.

Sometimes as as it was mentioned by chief Rojas, there is no need for the sixty days to conduct our assessment and we will complete our assessment in a lesser time.
