And then my backup question on this, many pedestrians are being struck by trucks that are essentially illegal in New York City, Fifty Three footers.
1:02:27
They seem to be we're looking the other way because now I see most tractor trailers are in that variety that are illegal to operate on the streets of the City Of New York.
1:02:38
Even they need a special permit even to go through.
1:02:41
Yet, in speaking to the leadership in the NYPD, it's something like we're just kind of we don't have the staffing level to enforce this.
1:02:53
Could you tell us how many 53 foot illegal operations were issued in fiscal year twenty four for 53 foot trucks?
Brian O'Sullivan

Good morning.
1:03:05
Afternoon.
1:03:06
So for the last few years, there's been a huge uptick in the commercial truck industry, especially the larger trucks that you mentioned.
1:03:15
The department has focused a lot on, once again, education and enforcement.
1:03:21
Queens alone, it's Southeast Queens, we've done numerous large scale towing operations to tow these trucks.
1:03:28
There's other hot spots in Brooklyn South and in The Bronx.
1:03:32
And we did have a task force over the last year or two where we worked with EDC, DOT, and they just rolled out a new pilot program, excuse me, where there's new locations for these larger vehicles to park and won't inhibit the residential parking area.
1:03:49
So going forward, it's it's gonna be about education, it's gonna be about towing more, and once again, these vehicles are very big, so tow tow space is very critical.
1:03:59
We also have some new technology with the barnacle we've been using in these areas.
1:04:04
And our code six and code 78 for the overnight truck parking violations, extra enforcement, especially overnight.
