Okay.
3:39:59
Okay.
3:40:00
Good afternoon, everyone, and thank you very much for holding this meeting today.
3:40:04
My name is Ebby Boyd.
3:40:06
I am the vice president of the Rosedale Civic Association and co chair of the Civics Quality of Life Committee.
3:40:12
Our organization was formed in 1946 to represent the interests of our residents and voters, population of over 25,000 in Southeast Queens.
3:40:22
Rosedale is home to grown young families, children, and its older and senior population that still remain in the same homes that they bought years ago.
3:40:31
Like has been stated by many others that spoke today and even our council member Holden, our community is negatively impacted by these large trucks, tractor trailers, industrial warehouses, and industrial pollution.
3:40:46
So our recommendations are along the same lines that you've heard today.
3:40:49
We're asking that this legislation strongly strongly mandates that this warehouse adapt low emission technologies, transition from electric electric vehicles transition from diesel vehicles to electric vehicles, electric fork forklifts, and that they also adopt the reduction of island time, which is currently by law, and they're they're they're disobeying for the safety of their own workers and the community.
3:41:17
And we're and also because I heard the commissioner mentioned that there's existing data from ear monitors.
3:41:23
I would like for that to be transparent and to be made available because we know that air quality varies from location to lake to location.
3:41:32
So we'll like to see, does this existing data reflect all of the community, especially the challenges that we're facing in our community, and if this existing data is up to date and if it's comprehensive.
3:41:45
Also, one last thing, we ask that the community is involved in the discussions and the decision makings in this important matter.
3:41:55
Thank you very much for allowing me to, express, our concerns.
